Elizabeth Adams joins CCR Re as Head of Underwriting Treaties for France. She strengthens the IART France teams within CCR Re’s Underwriting and Services Department.
Elizabeth is 47 years old and holds a Master's degree in Finance & Management Control from ESSEC Business School. She has worked mainly in the reinsurance industry, where she successively held analysis, audit and consulting positions in financial, technical and risk management departments, and then in reinsurance brokerage.
She began her career in the Axa Group where she stayed for a decade. In 1997, she joined AXA Re as Management Controller within the Actuarial France Division, before joining AXA Liabilities Managers in 2001 when it was incorporated, in charge of studies and analysis of technical and financial activity monitoring. In 2007, she joined the Paris Re group in the Actuarial Holding department where she managed the Reserving of Asian entities and the Management Control of the Group Actuarial Department. In 2009, she joined Paris Re's Risk Management Department, which became Partner Re in 2010, as an International Actuarial Research Consultant, where she monitored and analysed the performance of the underwriting portfolio’s exposure and performance.
She became Senior Reinsurance Broker at Guy Carpenter (Marsh & McLennan Companies Group), which she joined in 2011, where she provided consulting and placement services for traditional and non-traditional, multi-line reinsurance Non-Life covers.
