Thi Hoang Anh Nguyen is joining CCR Re as an underwriter for Asia, strengthening the teams of John Conan (Head of non-life underwriting: Asia & Africa).
At 31 years old, she has a bachelor’s degree in “Business & Finance” and a Masters in “Management & International Business” from Birmingham University. She started her career as an underwriter for Vietnam National Aviation Insurance Corporation in Hanoi before joining Willis Towers Watson as accounts manager. She also previously worked as a reinsurance underwriter for VINARE (Vietnam National Reinsurance Corporation) where she dealt with the Indian, Korean, Malaysian and Singapore markets.
She will now cover Vietnam where CCR Re holds a large position as well as Lao, Cambodia and the Philippines.
