Vincent Gros joins CCR on April 1 and assumes the position of General Counsel, Board Secretary  Legal Director and Head of Communication. A member of the Executive Com

mittee, he will report directly to Executive Management.

The move follows the decision earlier this year of the current General Counsel, Hervé Barrois, to retire after 34 years of good and loyal service at CCR and also following the departure of Isabelle Delval.

Bertrand Labilloy, chief executive officer:

“We are very pleased to welcome Vincent Gros to the CCR Group. In addition to excellent legal skills, he has a wide background in leadership positions and I am confident that he will prove a significant asset to CCR. I would also like to pay tribute to Hervé Barrois, who led our legal team with talent and expertise through some of the most important developments in our history. We wish him the very best in his new life.”

Vincent Gros' experience

Prior to working for CCR, Vincent Gros acquired substantial experience as General Secretary of a number of groups. He began his career (1987-2002) at Société Générale where he managed several operations in France, the United States and Japan. In 2001, he became deputy Chief Executive Officer of Euroclear France and made a member of the Euroclear Group Management Team.

He then joined the leading clearing house LCH Clearnet SA as General Secretary and Chief Risk Officer (2007-2012). In 2013, he was appointed General Counsel of Group Bred Banque Populaire, where he oversaw governance, legal affairs, internal and corporate communications, real estate management and cyber security.

Since July 2017, he has been a member of the Management Board of the French Deposit Guarantee Scheme Fonds de Garantie des Dépôts et de Résolution (FGDR) and of the Executive Committee of the International Association of Deposit Insurers, operating under the auspices of the Bank for International Settlements.
